Executive Home Care Expands Support for Family Caregivers During World Alzheimer’s Month

As World Alzheimer’s Day raises awareness about the growing impact of dementia, Executive Home Care, a leading provider of in-home care services and member of Evive Brands, is expanding programs and resources designed to help family caregivers navigate one of the nation’s most challenging health issues.

More than 7 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, while millions of family members provide unpaid care and support. As the number of dementia cases continues to rise, families are increasingly seeking guidance, care coordination and tools that help loved ones remain safely at home.

“Family caregivers often find themselves managing complex medical, emotional and day-to-day responsibilities with little preparation,” said Jeanette Weinz, brand president of Executive Home Care. “Our goal is to provide families with the support, education and resources they need to care for a loved one with dementia while maintaining their own well-being.”

To address these growing needs, Executive Home Care has expanded participation in the federal Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services initiative designed to improve quality of life for individuals living with dementia while reducing strain on family caregivers.

Since launching its participation in the GUIDE Model, Executive Home Care has seen strong engagement from families seeking additional dementia care support, prompting continued expansion of the program across its network. The company continues to expand enrollment across its network, increasing access to these resources in communities nationwide.

Executive Home Care is also utilizing AI to identify changes in a client’s condition, daily routines and overall well-being. The technology provides caregivers and families with insights that support proactive care decisions while preserving privacy.

“Dementia care requires a team approach,” Weinz said. “Programs like GUIDE and technologies such as AI allow us to better support both clients and family caregivers by identifying concerns earlier, improving communication and helping families feel more confident in the care their loved ones receive.”

As demand for dementia care continues to grow, Executive Home Care remains committed to helping older adults age in place while providing families with compassionate support throughout the caregiving journey.
